Hate to Say, but I Think I Should

Well, lately it's really bothering me to hear the issue of LGBT. In one of my whatsapp group, one of my friend send a post for not spreading the issue and make it "die" naturally and two of my friend there then respond in opposite tone. They don't agree, they think, it should be said clearly, yes or no, good or bad, not only distracting with another good thing. I agree with both. I agree that the issue shouldn't be spread widely, because that is exactly what they want. They want it to be widely known so people realize that they are exist and must be understood. But, since the issue already spread, so we also have to make it straight. It's not a good thing to follow. In a simple way, don't follow them! It's bad!

Actually, I don't think that it's a threat for me or people I love. It's something real, but it's not related with me or people around me. I follow a writer's blog though I know he is gay. I watch film of a movie star that is a gay or lesbian. It's okay for me, because they don't try to influence people to follow their life style. All I see about the writer I follow is that he is inspiring. His life story, his writing, his trip to some places, and some photography tips. It's all positive. The movie stars also play their character in a film well. They are all positive in their own way. Once again, I don't see any threats in enjoying their writing or film.

I agree that LGBT is a threat, because there are propaganda to influence the thought of people about this issue. The threat is not the people itself I guess. For me, it's all their own choice. We don't have any right to interrupt them in any ways, as long as they don't bother us. If we have any close friend or family dealing with it (naudzubillah), then it's our duty to make them straight.

In this unique country, there are so many other more important things to solve than this LGBT thing. I'm suspicious that it's an effort to distract the more crucial issue while this one is very personal.
